I’ve been cooking for as long as I can remember. I’m a self-taught home baker/chef with over 6 years of sweet, messy, trial-and-error experience in the kitchen. What started as a weekend hobby quickly turned into my biggest passion—and now, my full-time dream.
I created Happy Crumbs to share approachable yet stunning recipes that make everyday cooking feel a little more special. Whether you’re brand new or already obsessed like me, you’ll find step-by-step guides, helpful tips, and recipes that are tested (a lot!) to make sure you succeed at home.
Each recipe is carefully crafted to strike that perfect balance—easy enough for beginners, good enough to impress.
How This All Started
Believe it or not, I used to avoid cooking anything from scratch. I lived by boxed mixes and store-bought items. Cooking felt intimidating, like something only pros could do well. That changed after a tough day in my life, one where I really needed to feel like me again.
In the middle of that day, I stumbled across a YouTube video of someone baking a layered carrot cake from scratch. I watched it twice. Then, I tried making it myself. It flopped. But I loved it.
That one failure turned into a deep love for the process. I started learning everything I could—watching cooking shows, following other bakers, reading articles, and practicing like crazy. I found healing in the process of whisking, measuring, and creating something beautiful from just a few ingredients.
Now, I want to help others find that same joy. Whether you're cooking for your family, for fun, or for the first time, I'm here to cheer you on with recipes that are doable, delicious, and always full of heart.
